There is something soothing about the color green at this time of year. For instance, this old apple tree in the misty morning doesn't look nearly dead, but it is due to my two goats and horse nibbling on it during the winter when there is little else living to eat. But this photo shows vibrant life still bubbling forth from the branches.
I love this time of year, with the exception of biting bugs and extreme heat and humidity, which we thankfully don't get too much of. I'm in the midst of planting areas of grass and clover for my outdoor animals. I'm amazed at how quickly clover sprouts in this warmth. Three days!! I have to keep it wet, though, so I welcome any chance for rain. Storms are supposed to roll through this afternoon so I'll be out today again, mixing various grass & clover seed with loam. I find it to be the best way to help germinate the seed.

May we all grow with the seasons...may we all flourish abundantly.

Nice Blog. My wife and I use alternative energy here in Colorado and also on our boat which is at present in the Bahamas while we enjoy the glory of Colorado's spring and summer. Come winter, we're outta here! (Mile long driveway, expensive to plow, and we're getting too old for skiing and snow play, plus we both lived in coastal Maine for over 30 years before moving here) See you're in Bristol! Lived in Woolwich, Bath, and Edgecomb, as well as Boothbay!
Look at my blog if you get a few minutes. Nice photos on yours BTW!
Bob
