With the sky still gray, the air and ground damp, the coastline socked in by fog, it is good to reflect on the brighter colors nature unveils after the winds pick up to usher the mists of summer away.
High winds and evening sun hunker down upon the vast body of the Atlantic Ocean.
Gold & blue-green to soothe the soul.

I miss the ocean so much. I was raised in the Brunswick/Harpswell area and I feel like the ocean is in my blood. Not here in Tennesse though, that is for sure. Nice pictures of it. I feel as though I can almost touch it.
Thanks for your comment, Tina. It seems like I've always lived near some body of salt water, whether it's the Pacific Northwest of the Atlantic Ocean. I just love the smells of the salt water. I also love the sweet smell of pine that can only be experienced deep in the forest, far away from the salty air.
What can I say - I'm a Libra! I like an equal balance of things.
