Tinkerbell gave birth to a filly last weekend. They are not my horses, but oh do I wish they were! They live at Stones Edge Farm - there's a link to the site on my links section. Beautiful, aren't they.
Taking a little rest before mama decides it's time to move on again.

How adorable! Our neighbor has had horses for many years...but never a baby! I'd love to sit back and watch him play for a while....so sweet :)
Thanks for the suppportive comment on my blog. Your photos are beautiful. I especially love the horses. If you've read my blog, you know how I love to paint them. I used to have a horse myself, and loved him beyond all reason.
Well, chickens need to be in a brooder for 4-5 weeks before they can go out. They have to be kept very warm at first. Check out mypetchicken.com. I learned everything I know from their site.
Hencam is another good chicken site. It's hilarious because there is a webcam in their coop 24 hours a day.
How sweet! I just love the post with your mare and goats amount the wildflowers. Very clever of those goats to leave a few flowers. Makes for great photo ops. (Is that the one thing goats won't eat?)
Marnie
Marnie, thank you for your compliment. Goats won't eat daisies or buttercups, usually. They may take a nibble but usually they don't like them. However, they will eat a lot of other flowers, which is why I gave up growing them since I let them out into the front yard when the pasture grass is getting low.
